Choosing suitcase/bag. It depends on how long, where and the way you will travel. If you have chosen to fly, that means you should read the rules of the airline company for the sizes and kilograms of the luggage. If you travel often, invest in quality and durable suitcase – it should be easy to flip and drag. Pick a 4-wheel cabin suitcase – they are comfortable and easy to bring.
The weather. Before to start packing, check the climate and the temperatures of your destination. Then you can manage with the type of clothes and shoes you need and also to plan the places you want to visit.
Clothes/Shoes. The best way of picking suitable clothes is to open your wardrobe and to see all of your clothes at the same time. The trick is to pick the ones that will fit best with shoes and jackets. Like one great woman once said, “Take a dress, a jeans, a shirt and wear less”. Of course, it depends on what type of trip you go (business, vacation, etc.) Advice: fold them up. It will be easier for you to put them in the suitcase and they will be ready for wearing in every moment. After choosing the clothes, the picking of shoes is easier – the type and color must fit well with all of the clothes so the luggage will be less.
Underwear. After you choose the clothes, it is fast and easy to pick the underwear – provide a pair for every single day if there is no way to wash them up during the trip. And socks; as Dumbledore said, “One can never have enough socks”, so do not forget them!
Makeup/Medicine. First of all – if you are healthy, provide only medicines for head- and toothache, fever and vomiting/diarrhea. Everything happens. Keep in mind that the makeup and stuff for the bath must be in pack of 100ml maximum each. If you travel often, provide special empty travel kit bottles in which to put some shampoo and shower gel – it is easy and cheap. The markets on the airports offer a lot of travel kits and makeup, so if not necessary, do not take a lot of things with you. Check if the hotel you will stay in offers hair-driers in the rooms – they usually do, so eventually you won’t have to take one with you.
Entertainment. Most of the airline companies offer movies on board, but you can always bring a book or tablet, glasses or something else. The best option, of course, is a friend.
If you are going to travel with child(ren), there are good ideas to combine the luggage – from using a shampoo/shower gel for children and adults to the medicines and entertainments.
Enjoy your trip!
